Mulberry's Spa Policy

So that you have a safe and pleasant experience at Mulberry’s, we have a number of house rules and standard policies which we ask you to be aware of prior to your visit. We want you to enjoy your visit to the full and come back with joy in your heart, so here’s everything you need to know to prepare for your ultimate Mulberry’s Exclusive Beauty Spa experience. We wish you an enjoyable visit!

House Rules

 -  Arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment so that you can relax and enjoy the complete Mulberry’s experience.

 -  Turn off your mobile phone before you enter the salon.

 -  Provide 24 hour’s notice if you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment, or you may be charged 50% of the treatment fee or         the full amount if the slot cannot be rebooked.

 -  Our prices, treatment descriptions and information may be subject to revision without notice if we feel this is appropriate.

Client Conduct

The therapist reserves the right to stop the treatment at any time if she/he feels that the client’s behaviour is inappropriate.

Smoking

This is not permitted anywhere in or around the spa.

Children

We regret that children under the age of 16 we are unable to offer any treatments for, the exception is for Ear Piercing. . Parental consent is required for all treatments performed under the age of 16.

We sadly are unable to accommodate children accompany adults for treatments at any time apart for the exception of Ear Piercing to safeguard everyone and meet our insurance requirements.

Gift Vouchers

Mulberry’s regret that we cannot take any responsibility for lost gift vouchers so please look after them and ensure that they are presented at the time of your treatment – regrettably we make no exceptions to this policy. Gift cards are valid for one year from the date of issue.

Medical Information 

Please inform our Front of House team of any current or previous medical conditions or allergies you may have or had that may be affected by any of the services on offer at the time of reservation. If you have any doubts, please consult your doctor for advice and we may request you provide their advice in writing.

Contraindications 

We do not recommend waxing or facials directly before or after any form of heat treatment. To gain maximum benefits from essential and aromatherapy oils, we suggest you avoid showering for 3-4 hours after treatments using these and even leave the oils on overnight if you can. Avoid drinking alcohol after an aromatherapy massage and ensure you drink plenty of water following the detoxification treatment.

If you have any allergies, particularly to nuts, seafood or wheat, you may be asked to take a patch test prior to any skin treatments.

If you suffer from skin sensitivity, severe contact eczema, dermatitis or psoriasis we may ask you to take a patch test prior to any skin treatments.

We do not recommend pedicures or reflexology if you suffer from athletes foot, verrucae or fungal infections.

A patch test will be carried out for some of our treatments if, you are a first time client, have a change to your medical history or have an interval of 6 months between treatments we will need to carry a new patch test out inline with our guidance and insurance requirements.

Pregnancy

We regret cannot accept anyone within their first Trimester for any treatments. For treatments after 3 months, please make your pregnancy known to the Front of House team when booking your appointment.

Patch Testing

As a company, with the best interests of our customers at the top of our agenda, we must adhere to our manufactures guidelines to ensure the safe practice of all treatments. Due to the current Covid-19 Outbreak, we will require all clients to have a fresh patch test prior to treatment for chemical and IPL treatments.
