Dr Wheeler brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and professionalism to Mulberry’s. As a fully registered medical practitioner with the GMC (General Medical Council) holding a UK Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery degree, Dr Wheeler provides Aesthetic Medicine to Mulberry’s clients in addition to his hospital medical responsibilities.
Dr Wheeler’s training in Advanced Botox, Advanced Dermafiller, Hyperhydrosis (excess sweating), Platelet Rich Plasma and Aqualyx (fat reduction) took place at one of the UK’s leading and award-winning Consultant Plastic Surgeon led training course providers. In his private work at Mulberry’s, his aim is to provide natural looking enhancements to the face, neck and décolletage in our Aesthetic Facial Treatments and to create the best possible cosmetic outcomes in our Aesthetic Body Treatments.

Botox™

At Mulberry’s we see Botox™ as more than simply an injectable. Our clients are treated with the usual utmost care and also with the vast knowledge and precision that such a specialist art form deserves. Dr Wheeler specialises in ‘natural’ look Botox™, delivering very subtle but noticeable results to achieve a younger looking fresher face without the tell-tale startled/frozen appearance. He can smooth and relax the forehead, frown lines and crow’s feet so that the only “noticeable” effect is that wrinkles have disappeared. Treatments are always followed up with a review to ensure the desired results are obtained.

Redensity

Redensity is an injectable treatment containing a powerful combination of hyaluronic acid (HA) plus and essential nutrients which repair the skin whilst hydrating it. This is a minimally invasive treatment option to redensify skin and prevent the signs of ageing.
The combination of antioxidants, amino acids, minerals and vitamins, along with the HA, all serve to restore lost volume and rejuvenate the skin. Perfectly suited for the thin and sensitive skin around the eyes, Redensity is the perfect treatment to reduce the look of dark circles and achieve a refreshed and less tired look.
Profhilo

Profhilo is an injectable treatment containing one of the highest concentrations of stabilised hyaluronic acid (HA) on the market. Used for skin that is losing its elasticity and firmness with age, it boosts and hydrates the skin and remodels ageing and sagging tissue. Most commonly used for facial areas, the neck and décolleté, it can also be used for other areas of concern. With a gel like consistency, it distributes smoothly and evenly without lumps which can be associated with traditional fillers meaning it can effectively be used on areas usually considered difficult such as the forehead.
Suitable for those uncomfortable with signs of ageing such as fine lines, wrinkles, crepe-like skin and sagging tissue, Profhilo is injected just below the skin’s surface over 2 sessions 4 weeks apart. It can be used on its own or in conjunction with other fillers, laser treatment or Botox™.
PRP (AKA Vampire Facial)

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) treatment, also known as a “Vampire Facial” is an extremely popular and highly effective form of skin rejuvenation and cell regeneration. So called because it uses the client’s own blood, which is put through a medical-grade centrifuge to separate the platelet rich plasma. Using a topical numbing cream, the PRP is injected back into the superficial layers of the skin where it then kickstarts a rejuvenation process leading to a tighter, lifted, clearer, brighter and more youthful looking appearance.
Fast becoming the go to anti-aging treatment, PRP is popular since it starts a natural healing process, tricking the body into thinking there has been an injury and thus releasing the growth factors which promote the production of collagen and elastin. Excellent for general facial rejuvenation it can address specific concerns such as wrinkles, acne scarring, stretch marks, cellulite, open pores and the under-eye area.

Aqualyx™

Aqualyx™ is a safe, effective fat dissolving treatment that reduces fat cells in the treated area. Stubborn excess fat can be an issue for many men and women despite following a good diet and taking regular exercise. Thankfully, Aqualyx™ can be used to treat those exercise resistant and notoriously tricky areas such as pockets of fat around the chin, chest, abdomen, thighs, knees and ankles. Producing long lasting results, it means you can finally banish those annoyingly wobbly bits without resorting to more extreme methods such as liposuction.
The specially formulated compound solution is injected into the problem area and an ultrasound device applied over the surface of the skin causing the movement of liquids both inside and outside the fat cells. The fat cells start to break up and are released as micro droplets into the body, which is then metabolised through the lymphatic system and excreted. Results are quick, effective and minimally invasive.

Mole, skin tag & milia removal

Moles, milia and skin tags can be a by-product of the ageing process or related to sun damage or product build up. They may be minor, but they can diminish confidence and prevent you from achieving the clear and smooth complexion you desire. Dr Wheeler ensures a swift and simple removal with a minor surgical procedure to give you the best possible cosmetic outcome with no fuss or irritation.
Sclerotherapy for leg vein removal

Sclerotherapy is a tried and tested technique that has been used effectively for many years. It involves the injection of a very small amount of solution into the vessels. This solution acts like an irritant causing the walls of the veins to stick together, empty of blood and ultimately disappear. Sclerotherapy is a proven and successful way of removing thread veins on your legs – quickly and efficiently and without the need for surgery. As the needles used are very fine, there is little discomfort whilst undergoing this treatment. Injected blood vessels temporarily look worse and bruised but gradually fade away after 6-8 weeks. The winter months are the ideal time to undergo this procedure.
